Christian Funeral

We shall all be together in Christ.

“We shall never be separated, for we live for Christ, and now we are united with Christ as we go toward him…”

With gratitude for your trust, we are honored to serve and pray for your loved one as we commend them to God our Father through the sacrifice of Christ our Lord

Funeral Reading: First Reading, Old Testament
(Outside of Easter Time)

As sacrificial offerings he took them to himself.

An unsullied life, the attainment of old age.

He will destroy death forever.

Funeral Reading: First Reading, New Testament
(During Easter Time)

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.

The dead were judged according to their deeds.

There shall be no more death.

Funeral Reading: Second Reading, New Testament

Since we are now justified by his Blood, we will be saved through him from the wrath.

We too might live in newness of life.

What will separate us from the love of Christ?

Whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

So too in Christ shall all be brought to life.

Death is swallowed up in victory.

He will change our lowly bodies to conform to His glory.

We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers.
