How do I Become Catholic?
If you or your child or teenager have not been baptized or were baptized in another Christian faith tradition and wish to become part of our Catholic community, please contact our Office of Faith Formation (321-355-3411 option 4). We would be happy to meet with you. Also, if you are Catholic and have not received First Eucharist and/or Confirmation, OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) can provide the means to prepare for these Sacraments of Initiation.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8 p.m., August – May. Catechumen participants (not baptized) are also dismissed from the 10 a.m. Mass after the homily and proceed to the Social Hall for Breaking Open the Word discussion (December – Easter Vigil).
If you are High School aged student or older, and are interested in learning more about or are interested in joining the Roman Catholic Faith; or if you are a Baptized Catholic, but have not completed any further Sacraments, please contact our Faith Formation Coordinator at call 321-355-3411 option 4.
Registration for OCIA is completed at the Faith Formation Office.
