Thank you for your interest in serving in ministry at St. Thomas Aquinas!
If you would like to serve in a liturgical ministry, please contact Megan Holmberg at mholmberg@stacatholic.org.
For all other ministries, please refer to the parish bulletin for the contact information of the ministry leader and reach out to them directly for further information and next steps.
The Volunteer Process
Step 1: Contact the leader of the ministry you are interested in. Their contact information is in the bulletin.
Important!
Please do not begin the Safe Environment process or submit fingerprints until you have been approved to serve in a specific ministry.
Step 2: Safe Environment and Fingerprint Clearance
Volunteers over the age of 15 must complete the Diocese of Orlando Safe Environment Training and submit fingerprints for a background clearance.
Safe Environment:
To begin the quiz, type in 78 for our ENTITY NUMBER. Click below to start the process.
Fingerprint Clearance:
Please note the code that is provided after you pass the quiz.
You will need this code when making an appointment with FieldPrint Florida.
Once you have received a passing score on your quiz, click below to make an appointment to obtain your fingerprint clearance:
Step 3: Email required information
Once you have completed the Safe Environment process and scheduled your fingerprinting appointment, please email the following information to the parish office at info@stacatholic.org:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Last four digits of SSN
- FieldPrint Appointment Date
- Ministry Name(s) (list all; e.g., “SVdP and Ushers, English Mass 8am”)
- A clear, face-forward, unedited headshot
*If you have been approved to serve as a Eucharistic Minister or a Minister of the Sick, also include:
- Formation Workshop Date (or write “pending” if no workshop is currently available)
- Notify the parish office when you register for the workshop so we can request the mandate from the bishop.
Lastly: The parish office will contact you and the ministry leader once clearances have been received.
